Join us for a powerful luncheon and panel discussion that celebrates Juneteenth and the legacy of Black women who show up, lead, and carry generations of community. Hosted in the historical St. Paul Square in partnership with Maria Williams, Founder of In the Eye of the Beholder Art Gallery, this event brings together dynamic voices from across the city to reflect on the legacy of Black women during Reconstruction and how those same values of resilience, creativity, and connection continue to shape our communities today.
Through storytelling, dialogue, and reflection, panelists will explore what it means to build and preserve Black history and spaces, nurture joy, and create a lasting sense of belonging in San Antonio. You will leave this event feeling INSPIRED, with a renewed sense of hope, a deeper connection to the city's Black community, and a call to action to be a part of its flourishing future.
